SPDSS51

Hi everyone! I’m here with a card made for Sugar Pea Designs Challenge 51! I usually use lighter and brighter colors so it was fun to step outside that range and use some deeper and darker shades! I love the colors used on this card. Here’s how I made it!

image

I started with a evergreen color card base and layered on a piece of navy paper that I cut down and rounded the corners. I added white stitching detail before popping it up. Then u die cut a large ticket shape and distressed the edges using a light brown ink pad. Before adding the ticket, I added some cream colored ribbons own the right side of the blue piece. Then I added the sentiment pieces and the cats using foam tape. This was one of my favorite cards using the Cool Cats from MFT so far.

Laat card of the day!! This one is for the Color Throwdown Challenge! The colors this week we’re golden yellow, navy, and white! I, of course, watercolored a cat. Here it is!

I used a navy card base and added a strip of burlap-y yellow something… 😳 Then I die cut the ticket shape out of white paper and stamped the cat. Then I used a post it note to make a mask and stamped the little uchion thing he’s sitting on. I watercolored the images and stamped the sentiment on the top of the die cut. Lastly, I used foam tape to adhere it to the base. Here is a link to the challenge!

One Cool Cat for YNS

Hello!! I’m here with yet another card for the day! This one was for Your Next Stamp’s color and sketch challenge!

image.jpeg

This card was so much fun! I used a bright green card base and added layers of yellow and pink paper. I had stamped paw prints all over the pink panel before adhering it. Then I watercolored another cool cat on a die cut circle and finished it off with a vellum sentiment!

Metal & Sketch

Hi, again! I made another card for 2 more challenges! I used metal for Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge as well as a sketch from CASE.

image

I started with a burgundy-brownish card base and die cut a circle towards the top. Then I adhered a piece of pattern paper on the inside of the card and hot glued a small lock so you could see it inside the window! I stamped and clear embossed the sentiment on vellum and added a bronze strip of paper on the front of the card!

I’M BACK!

Hey, everyone! I’m finally all moved into our new house and have set up my card making area! I haven’t made a card in almost a month so it was so great to get back into it! I decided to do some challenges to get the mojo back! There will be links to them at the end of this post!

Here is a look at the card and how I made it!

image

I started with a black square card base then added 4 squares with watercolored cars and a sentiment! The cats were super easy to watercolor! I only used black and just shaded around the edges of the images. I added them onto the base with foam tape then added 3 enamel pearls! This was a great card to get back into the swing of things because it was so super simple!
