Hey, everyone! I’m back with my last card for today! I wanted to play along with the Color Throwdown Challenge but didn’t have any stamps I wanted to use. So I just painted some flowers myself. I really like how it turned out. I used a sketch from CAS(E) This Sketch for my card! Here it is!
I started with a white A2 sized card base and started painting! I used Crayola markers to scribble on some color onto a palette then picked it up with a brush. I simple slapped down blobs of color where I wanted the flowers and leaves to be and let it dry. Then, I used a more concentrated color to paint on details to give it a more floral look. I also added leaves to the card.
i only have smaller sentiments and I needed something larger to fill up the space on the left and middle portions of the card. So I grabbed a black Sharpie and wrote the word “hello.” I love how this card turned out and hopefully one day I will have stamps that can I can use instead! 🙂 Here are links to the challenges I’m entering this card in!
