Hello, everyone! A new challenge is up over at CanYouCaseIt? and this time its BACK TO SCHOOL! I just finished the first week of my senior year of college the past week! I am actually majoring in Education so I was super excited for this challenge. But it was definitely a challenge– I don’t have many B2S supplies so I made do with a couple of Stamping’ Up! stamps from 1993… And of course I used my elementary school colors- sending this one to my mom who teaches kindergarten there.
I started by stamping a background with a crayon stamp randomly across an A2 sized card base. Then is cut a panel from some more white card stock and blend some Barn Door Distress Ink from top to bottom before stamping a splatter from MFT. Then is stamped a scissors also from SU! in the same distress ink and fussy cut the image. I popped it up on the splatter then used my Dymo label maker to create a sentiment. I love using labels on cards but they always glare in photos.. Hope you enjoyed my card and play along with CYCI this week!
Cute card. Love the ombre look of your background!!!

OMG… that label takes me back… I haven’t seen labels done like that in years. I love the connection, it’s great. Rose.
