Hey everyone! Today was a very busy day in the craft room! I finished three cards in one sitting which is very unusual for me!! Here is the first- I use this sketch from MFT as inspiration!
I really loved this sketch and when I was scrolling through Instagram I stumbled upon the amazing Julie Ebersol and wanted to case one of her designs featuring a wash tape background. Here is my version with one of my favorites, the shovel gnome from You Gnome Me.
I started by laying down the washi onto my white card base. Then I Copic colored and die cut the gnome. I popped him up along with a coordinating sentiment that I white heat embossed and Distressed Inked. I really love this layout and will definitely use it again soon!
Hey guys! I’m not sure why, but I’ve never played along with Newton’s Nook Inky Paws Challenge before!
So for my very first entry ever I had to use my favorite stamp from NND-the cat from Sweater Weather. Check it out!
I colored in the adorable cat with Copic markers and popped it up on a Kat Scrappiness die over some patterned paper. A couple banners and simple XOXO finished it off.
Hopefully I will have time to enter a few more challenges now that I have a little more free time! See ya soon!
Hey, everyone! Kevin here again with a super farmtastic Valnetine’s Day card. Check it out!
I started by stamping my own patterned paper using the XOXO from Simply Said onto one of the stitched panels from the Fancy Frames dies. There are so many wonderful sentiments in this set, many which can be used for VDay. Then I cut out the smaller stitched rectangle and stamped a little piggy and cow from Barnyard as well as another sentiment from Simply Said. A few Mini Banner die cuts finished the card off after adding the panel onto a pink scalloped rectangle and white card base using fun foam. Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day!
Hi guys! Its time for a new challenge and a new format. We are on Facebook now! Visit CYCI there for more details. Amber grouped some super awesome colors together for this weeks challenge! Check ’em out!
I love this warm palette with a pop of teal! I decided to CASE one of Rachel Bergenfield’s card this week. Here is my version of her floral heart card!
I started by die cutting a Kat Scrappiness heart and stamped some mums from W+9 onto it. I Copic colored them in with the challenge colors and popped it onto a white card base. I added a sweet Mama Elephant sentiment to finished off.
Hey everyone! It’s been a while since I’ve had time to make a card for some challenges so when I had some downtime today for about an hour I decided to make a birthday card for one of my roommate’s younger sister who is turning 5 or 6. We’re not really sure lol. I used inspiration from Cupcake Inspiration and The Cat’s Pajamas challenges! The themes were plaid and geometric shapes. Check it out!
I started by die cutting a couple star shapes, one with a plaid paper from Lawn Fawn. I layered them over a Fancy Scalloped Rectangle die from Kat Scrappiness. Then I stamped and Copic colored one of the rockin’ pups from Mama Elephant. A simple sentiment and some sequins finished it off!
Thanks for stopping by and make sure to check out these awesome challenges! I hope to get back to making cards for fun again soon! It’s been very busy and I can barely keep up with all the DT and guesting spots lately!
Hi, guys! It is the final day of sneak peaks for February featuring the new stamps from StampAnnieThing! Today, Steampunk Maggie gets to take the spotlight. She is definitely the punkiest stamp ever. I love the cool hat that comes with her set! Check her out!
For my project I made a steampunk CAS card using an embossing folder and some washi tape. I colored Maggie’s sweet dress in a bright and bold red to really make her stand out against the kraft background.
Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope to see some creations featuring the SAT new release!
HI, everyone! It’s time for another sneak peak from StampAnniething! Today we have Dean! I was so glad to see another guy in the SAT lineup! Check him out!
My card is very CAS with Dean looking prtety swaggerific in front of a soft Distress Inked background. I used Copic markers to color him in then added the sentiment towards the bottom to finish it off.
Thanks for checking out Day 2 of the February sneak peaks and hope to see you tomorrow for the third and final sneak!
