I love the green color in this photo and the gray is really cool too! Here’s how I used the colors-

I started by inking on some white pigment ink over a Hero Arts stencil and layering on a die cut oval. Then a piece of patterned paper and a Copic colored birthday bear tied it all together. I love this card and have Jodi Collins to thank for the layout!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Space Explorer

Hey, everyone! I’m here with another card to share, this time for the MFT sketch challenge-

I really loved the scalloped edge in the sketch and thought the square would be a perfect place to put a little astronaut! Check it out-

I used a Kat Scrappiness scalloped oval to make the edge and some Distress Inks for the galaxy background. The astronaut and sentiment come from MFT’s Space Explorers.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day!!

Spotted You First

Hi, guys! I have a really fun card to share with you today! I used the funniest little giraffe from Maple & Ink, I love his blank expression like he got caught eating those leaves when he shouldn’t have been or something like that.

I was inspired by the cue card LOUD at CASology and the current sketch at (CAS)E this Sketch.

To me, LOUD meant lots of bold colors! And the sketch was perfect for adding splatters and a focal image with a sentiment strip to ground it. Check it out-

I Copic colored the giraffe and ink blended the background. The same colors I ink blended with were used as spatter, too. I love the sorta 90s graphic look of this card. Reminds me of a jazzercise outfit for some reason…let me know what you think!

CAS Chef Card

Hello, everyone! I’m back to share a card for a couple of challenges- MFT’s Sketch Challenge and Color Throwdown’s Color Challenge.

I really loved the diagonal stripes from the sketch and thought that they would look really cool with some ink blending. So here’s what I came up with-

phonto.jpg

I started by white heat embossing the brick background from MFT and ink blending a couple diagonal stripes to mimic the sketch. I used Squeezed Lemonade and Tumbled Glass Distress Inks. I cut down the panel to fit behind a Single Stitched Rounded Rectangle Frame from MFT. A fun little green accented Chef, also from MFT, along with a coordinating heat embossed sentiment finished it off.

I am really happy to be back to making cards for fun and not just for design teams. This card was very fun to create! Thank you for stopping by and have a great day

UGG… Let’s GO Clubbing

Hey, guys! Sorry for the month long absence! I am much more active on Instagram, so if you don’t follow me over there, please do, I am much more active on IG. But anyways, here is a card I made for the current challenge of at Fusion!

I really loved the combination of the navy and white patterns paired with the tan elements of the photo inspiration. I used those colors as the combo for this card and made sure to keep it clean and simple!

I started by free-handing some navy stripes on the left side of the card base. Then, using the Single Stitched Rounded Rectangle Frames from MFT, which are the coolest dies ever, I cut 4 pieces of kraft paper to layer up onto my card. Then I used the most hilariously punny stamp set from Maple & Ink, called UGG, to be the stars of the card. I stamped, colored with Copics, and fussy cut them out before popping them up in the frame. A caveman sentiment that I white heat embossed onto navy cardstock finished it off. On the inside I stamped a coordinating stamp set from the set- LET’S GO CLUBBING.

Thanks fro stopping by! Hope to be back soon!
