Double Awesome

Hey everyone! I have a pair of cards to share today! They’re pretty much the same design so I thought I’d share them together. Check them out-

I started by ink blending with 4 Distress Inks on each panel. Then I ran them through with an embossing folder to give them amazing texture and dimension. Then I die cut a scripty “awesome” die with some black cardstock to use as the sentiment on top of a strip of vellum and glitter paper. I’m not sure if “awesome” is really a full sentiment but I didn’t know what else to add and I loved the design as is.

I used the color challenge from YNS as inspiration. This die is the only YNS product I have, and it cut sooo nicely I’m definitely going to try to get more!

CAS Happiness Card

Hi everyone! Im so excited to be able to FINALLY play in the CASology challenge. Check it out-

I don’t have any kind dies or stamps so I figured this happiness sentiment would do. I love the cheerful messege.

I started by ink blending 3 colors of Distress Ink onto the card front in a geometric stripey fashion. Then I stamped the sentiment.

This is a very simple design but I really like how it turned out.

A Foxy Thank You

Hi guys! I’m back with a CAS thank you card. Check it out-

I started by doing some masked ink blending with a cloud stencil and Distress Ink. Then I added a Copic colored fox from Newton’s Nook and a sentiment fom MFT.

I love the look of this CAS card. I’ll be using this design for future projects. Here’s the color inspiration for this card.

Valentine’s Day?

Hey everyone! I guess Valentine’s Day is right around the corner…so here’s the first and probably only Valentine I’ll make for this year!

I used MFT’s Written in Watercolor for the white heat embossed heart pattern. They’re really fun and all unique. The set has really cool  sentiments as well that I find myself using quite often on the inside of cards. The sentiment on this card comes from a Maple & Ink set from last year.
