CASology: SWOON

Hi, everyone! I’m not sure if you all follow the CASology challenge blog, but if you don’t, you should!!! Because I just joined as  design team member!!! I am SO SO SO SO SO excited. I have participated in a few different challenges over my card mkaing years, but CASology has always been my favorite. I love seeing how everybody interprets the cue cards each week. But, I don’t always have time to enter the challenges- so now I have an excuse- I NEED to get my card done!

Here’s the cue card for my this week.

I actually had to Google what this actually meant, I’ve heard it before and had a pretty good idea. People are always leaving comments on Instagram posts about a card being “swoon worthy” so I figured it meant something along the lines of “love it” or “jaw dropping.” So for my card I went with the love theme. AI Hugs

Hi everyone! I’m here today to share this sweet card with you guys. Valentine’s Day is coming up but I think this could be used anytime of the year, really. Check it out-

I used an awesome stamp from Art Impressions as my focal point. I colored that adorable couple up with Copics and fussy cut it out. A fun plaid paper and die cut window sentiment finished this card off.

I love adding adding patterned paper to cards that are still CAS. Keeping the paper use in small amounts and using interesting angles really makes an impact in my opinion.

I also used the current cue card over at CASology as inspiration.
