Pastel Blender Brushes & More Stencils

Good day, crafting friends! Taylored Expressions is releasing some FANTASTIC products today. New stencil designs and p a s t e l blender brushes and more! Take a look!

I made a few cards featuring the new stencils…check them out!

On this project, I used the new Daisy Crazy stencil. Some gradient ink blending and simple masking created a fun background for this birthday card.

This card uses the new Criss-Cross stencil. Again, more simple masking and light-to-dark ink blending made for a fun background that goes perfectly with the On the Block Happy die cut.

The Breezy stencil is so versatile. Think fall colored leaves, vibrant feathers, or in this case – a fun colorful background for a birthday card. I masked off each section and blended on pastel colors of ink.

This card shows off the Paint Swatch stencil. Since this design is not symmetrical, I blended on a brown color of ink, turned it 90 degrees and applied some Nuvo Glimmer Paste to create my interpretation of an animal print to match the cute giraffe from Life of the Party.

And finally, I have created this Miss You card with the Pretty Petals stencil. First, I stamped the sentiment from BLANK then covered it up with a circle mask. Then some light ink blending followed by some heavier stenciling finished this card off. I love the clean and nature vibes I get from this one.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Taylored Expressions Christmas Release

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Taylored Expressions! There are over 40 products being released today! Check out what I created with just a few of the products from the release!

For this first card, I used the Endless Evergreen stamp and die to create a forest of evergreens. I love the different shades of green. The sentiment, from Seasonal Sprig, was stamped on vellum and heat embossed with black powder.

This festive card was created using the Beautiful Baubles Layering Stencil set and add-on sentiment set. The stencil set comes with 3 stencils, so I chose a pink and black ink along with some Nuvo glimmer paste to add some dimension.

This third card might be my favorite from this release! I just love a chubby Santa! He and the sentiment are from the Merrie Millie stamp set. I used Copic markers to color Santa is a non-traditional aqua color to match the card base. Then some stenciling and Silver Drip Drops finished this one off.

This last card, or set of cards rather, is among my favorites as well. I love that stencils offer so much color possibilities and are super easy to mass produce with (don’t tell anyone, but I didn’t even clean off my stencil between colors). I used On the Block Happy stamp and die with On Repeat Holidays for the sentiments. Some gold embossing and more Nuvo glimmer paste added just the right amount of sparkle.

Which color is your favorite? I love the green, but my wife chose the navy as her fav!

Lastly, I present to you the very first ever gift card holder I’ve made.

I used the Pretty Package die set with some vellum so the recipient could have a sneak peek into the holder. Some glitter cardstock added just the perfect amount of sparkle and shine. A sentiment from the Pretty Package Holiday Tags finished this project.

Thanks for stopping by! Hope you found some inspiration to make some fun holiday creations!
