Farm Cards with Taylored Expressions

Hey, card makers! Today I have a couple of cards showing off a few products from the Farm Fresh kit that are now available as individual items. On both of these cards below, I used the Farm Fresh Critters stamps and dies and the Set the Scene – Grass Stencil Strips stencil.

On this card, I stamped and colored the cow from Farm Fresh Critters. Then I added him to a panel that I had stenciled on a strip of green grass from the Set the Scene – Grass Stencil Strips stencil before popping it up onto a black card base. A few balloons from Balloon Bouquet Additions were the perfect pops of color. Finally, a slightly altered sentiment form the same set finished this card.

This card features the horse image from the Farm Fresh Critters stamp set. I created a grassy area for the horse to stand upon and added some color in the background using the confetti images from Balloon Bouquet Additions. A simple stamped sentiment from the Tag Team birthday set.

Thanks for stopping by today and have a great day!

Like Gnome Other Kit Release from Taylored Expressions

Hello, card making friends! It is time for another great kit from Taylored Expressions. This one might be my favorite kit yet! Check out the stamps and dies from the kit:

As you can see, the theme is GNOMES! I love gnomes, both the garden and card making variety. This kit is perfect for Valentine’s Day cards…but I will be using these gnomies all year long! Here are a couple cards I made with the kit.

On this first card, I started by white heat embossing the Cable Knit Background onto Poppy Seed card base. Then I created a little scene with by blending on Lollipop ink for the sky and Cookie Monster ink for the grass. I love these colors for a non-traditional landscape scene. Then I added the die cut fence from the kit. A pair of Copic colored gnomes and a stamped sentiment are the perfect focal point for this card.

This card features the gnomes from the kit peeking into a window. I created the widow using the rectangle masking stencils. I added a white heat embossed sentiment to the panel and popped it up on a Poppy Seed card base. The white panel is scored to portray house siding and the gnomes are colored with Copics.
