Hey everyone!! I have 3 supercool projects to share for the Superstar challenge at MFT! There are 3 categories this year and here’s my entry for each-
For my clean and simple design I chose to go with MFT’s classic chef image from Recipe for Happiness. The brick background Stamp was a perfect backdrop for him.
Polar Bear pals are perfect for slider cards! This bear skates back and forth across the sentiment strip backed by a MFT background Stamp white heat embossed onto gray card stock.
There aren’t many images I don’t enjoy coloring from MFT. But one of my all time favorites are these adorable mice from Harvest Mouse. I actually made a tag with four of the mice but this guy is my favorite. I colored him with Copics and added him to a teeny tiny card using a tag builders set. I love mini cards!
Thanks for stopping by and if there’s still time make sure to enter the challenges!! MFT is generously giving away over $4000 in prizes, showing just what a kind and thoughtful company they are! Thanks for the chance MFT!!
Hey, guys! I have a really awesome card to share with you today! This one might be my favorite card I’ve made ever, I love everything about it! I got inspiration from CASology and CTD-
I figured these challenges would pair well together since red, black, and white are both my high school colors and my college colors! So making a teacher card with them would be fun!
I staryed by stamping and coloring one of the cutest little mice from Harvest Mice by MFT on some grey cardstock from Paper Trey Ink. I’ve never colored on grey paper but it turned out really cool! Then I did some inlaid die cutting with a die from Sugar Pea Designs. Some MFT striped paper and PPP sewuins finished it off!
Thanks for stopping by!
Hello hello hello!!! I’ve FINALLY made a card in time to enter into a challenge. The last 7 or 8 card I’ve made have always missed the deadline. A combo of photo laziness and bad lighting is always the culprit. But I’ve managed to get this one done with 2 hours to spare.
I used the Polka Dot challenge from Newton’s Nook as inspiration.
Brsides the challenge, I also found inspiration from the wonderful Andrea Shell. She created a beautiful polka for and ink blended shaker that I just had to CASE! Go check her out if you haven’t seen it!
I used a circle die to die to repeatedly cut some white card stock and adhered the dots to a panel. Then I used a larger circle to cut a window into the panel so I could create a shaker card. A Distress Ink background and some PPP sparkling clear sequins were the perfect backdrop for the sweet kitten from NN Sweater Weather set. A word die from Mama Elephant in glittery white completed this card!
Thanks for stopping and thanks to Andrea for the inspiration!!
Its here! The final day of the StampAnnieThing relese week countdown! And I think we saved the best for last! Check out Abigail-Enjoy the Show
I Copic colored her and added her onto an ink blended card base compete with shimmer pen and enamel dots! I love this image and would love to use it as a tag for a movie themed gift or movie tickets sometime!
Thanks for stopping by!
Hi everyone! My post for Wednesday’s StampAnnieThing September release didn’t post…so today I have TWO sneak peeks for you to take a look at! SAT’s September release is one of my favorites so far! Check it out-
First we have this cool guy- Tommy- Thanks So Much
I Copic colored him and added him on top of some patterned paper complete with a few enamel dots.
Next is Holly-Especially For You
I Copic colored her as well, but this time instead of patterned paper I did some ink blending and dry embossing (cant see in photo) compete with a sentiment strip and more dots!
Thanks for stopping by and make sure to come back tomorrow for the third and final sneak of the release from StampAnnieThing!!!
Hey everyone! Guess who is this week’s guest designer for CASology?! ME!!! Isn’t that awesome?! This week’s cue card was SAFARI.
I love the giaffe image from Maple & Ink’s Spotted You First set. It was perfect to use with this week’s cue word.
I did did a little background stamping with Distress Ink and then added my image and a die cut sentiment over some vellum.
Thanks for stopping by and a HUGE thank you to the CASolofy team for having me this week!
Hey guys! The current Color Throwdown challenge is a good one- red, yellow, green and aqua.
Love how these colors work together. I thought it would be a challenge to work all of these colors into a super CAS design, but I did it-
I used Whimsy Alphas from W+9 and some Distress Ink for the colorful background. Then a simple die cut from SSS and some Wink of Stella finished it off.
Love this card and it could really work for many types of cards!
