Hey, everyone!!! If you follow me on the Insta, you know that I am one of the lucky card makers on the 1st ever Three Room Studio design team! The December release is LIVE today!!! Here are 3 cards I made using the 3 new stamp sets!
First up I used the most adorable ski partners in the world from “Welcome Winter” on the clean and simple winter card.
I stamped the image, partially of the page for something a lil different, then colored it in with the beloved Copic markers. Some quick stenciling with a snowflake stencil and Distress Ink added some interest and color to this card. Finally, a white heat embossed sentiment finished it off. This card is my favorite, tell me yours in the comments!
Next up- the rainbow wreathe!
I took elements from “Skate Sleep Repeat” and stamped them in a circular pattern to make a wreathe. Distress Oxides made stamping really easy. I only have a few colors though, so I couldn’t quite make the traditional rainbow, but y’all get the idea, right?!
Lastly, the ever so cozy card using the main image from “Let’s Hygge.”
This set’s sentiments really spoke to me- food, friends, and socks- what else do you need in life?! I stamped and Copic colored the comfy lady sippin’ her coffee and added a soft ink blend towards the top of the card. Then a giant thought bubble filled with this lady’s favorite things acted as the sentiment fro this card.
Thanks for stopping by the ol’ blog today! If you love any of these images as much as I do, get them HERE!
PS- sorry for the unusual photos today, I had to take these pictures at work…don’t tell my boss! 😉
This is probably a surprise to most of you, but my stamp collection is not very large. I have about 1 shoe box full of stamp sets, including background stamps and coordinating dies. What I am getting at is that I only buy what I really love! So when these Bitty Bears came out last year(?) I knew I needed them! I use them every once in a while, but when I do- I always end up loving the result! Check out the latest card made with my favorite little critters-
This card is super clean and simple, but that’s what I love! I stamped out 4 bears and colored them with my Copics, my fav is the polar bear! Then I stamped a sentiment and popped up the panel on a gray card base. That was it! Simple, right!
I used the MFT WSC as inspiration.
Thanks for stopping by and heave a great day!
Hey, card making friends! Florals seem to always be trending within the card making industry. But, I am never drawn to buy many flowery images. However, my lovely friend Diane sent me this set from Altenew and I love it! So maybe I should buy some more florals and see what I can do with them?! Check it out-
I first heat embossed the rose and the stem onto a vellum panel. Then I did some watercoloring on the back of the panel. Since vellum is translucent, you can see the watercolor from the front. I adhered it to a white card base then added a sentiment (from the same stamp set) with some foam squares.
I used the colors from this weeks CTD challenge as inspiration.
Thanks for stopping by, have a great day!!
Hey, everyone! I have a super clean and simple card to share today! It’s almost one layer, but I just couldn’t pull that off.
I started by doing some light stenciling with a wave stencil from Neat & Tangled and Distress Ink. Then I stamped and heat embossed some drinks and the large sentiment from CZ Design. Then a subsentiment finished it off.
I hope you like this card and play along with the Snarky Sisters’ challenge!
Hi, makers! I have a Halloween card to share today! Earlier I said I was only going to make one Halloween card this year, but when I saw the challenge them over at Newton’s Nook, I had to play along!
I used the the bear from Sweater Weather for this Halloween card. A stencil and Distress Ink completely the background. And a couple letter dies made up the sentiment. This is a pretty simple card but it packs quite the Halloween punch!
Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day!
Hi, people! Today I have a clean and simple card that was inspired by the Wednesday Sketch Challenge at the MFT blog. Check it out-
I started by making some score marks on the bottom section of the card. You can’t really see them in the photo, but trust me they are there!! Then I masked off that section and did some stenciling with the MFT Radiating Rays stencil and 2 shades of purple Distress Ink. My go-to word die, the Smile Dies from MFT, made its way onto the center of the card to complete the CAS design. I am in love with CAS cards and this is one of my favorites. There is texture and dimension but a lot of white space.
Let me know if you played along with the challenge, I love seeing everyone’s interpretation of the sketch! Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day!
Hi, everyone! I’ve got my first, and probably last, Halloween card of the year to share with you today. I used colors from Color Throwdown and a sketch from MFT as inspiration. Check it out-
I used MFT’s Witch Way is the Candy stamp set, stitched circles, and some Distress Inks on this card to create a Halloween night. I don’t really dig the sentiments with 2 sizes, so I did some surgery and cut off the big hello from the set and inserted a smaller hello from a different set to create a consistently sized greeting. I hope you can’t notice it’s not meant to be like that! Some simple Copic coloring and paper layering completed the card.
