Hex Yeah with TE

Hi everyone! Taylored Expressions is now selling previous kit items separately! Here is a card I made using the Happy Hexagon kit dies and alpha stamps.

I started by stenciling the background with the Mini Slim Swiss Heart stencil with a couple of pinky-peach colors. Then I added the hexagon die cuts and stamped a punny sentiment with the Typewriter Alpha stamp set. I love the bold sentiment and soft colors.

TE Full of Flowers

Greetings, crafty friends! Today I am sharing a card that is Full of Flowers! Literally- that is the name of the stamp and stencil set 😉

This card features the Full of Flowers Cling and Clear Combo set. I started by stamped the outline of the florals in Oreo ink on a diagonal to add a bit of interest to my panel. Then I ink blended orange and blue inks through the stencil to add color. I masked off a strip right above the flowers to add a stripe of black ink. A simply stamped sentiment was added before popping this panel onto a Toffee cardbase.

I love the clean look and how the colors work together with the flowers. I usually tend to use bright colors with flowers, but these muted tones worked well with the Toffee card base! Thanks for stopping by, have a great day!

Masking Stencils from TE

Good day, crafty folk! Taylored Expressions is treating us with a new release of stencils!, dies, and the such!! I love ink blending, therefor I love stencils! Check out a few projects I made using the new goodies!

This card features the Little Critters stamp set from a previous release on a stenciled background. The Modern Mosaic Layering stencil was so much fun to use! I love the retro feel of this pattern. I also used the Diagonal Stitched Square Stacklets to frame my unicorn and dragon. A sentiment strip completed this card.

On this card, I used the Masking Stencils – Scalloped Squares to create a nature inspired card. The stencil is perfect for making a photo frame on your projects. I stamped the tress from Endless Evergreens and added some ink blending. A coordinating sentiment strip completed this card.

This card features one of my favorite stencil techniques- double stenciling. I used the new Masking Stencils – Scalloped Ovals along with the Candy Cane Stripes stencil to create a pastel ombre from yellow to pinky purple. The colorful backdrop was the perfect spot for a big bold sentiment.

TE Exclusives Release!

Howdy! There are previously exclusive products, now available fro all to enjoy! Here are 3 cards I made using some of the newly available products!

This card features some of my favorite things! Clean and simple design, ink blending, and simple Copic coloring. I started by using the Masking Circles to ink bland a couple shades of green. Then stamped the bold greeting from Every Birthday. A few elements from Full of Flowers Singles completed this card.

This card features one of my favorite background stamps ever- Art from the Heart. I went for a tone-on-tone look and added some glitter cardstock to add a pop of pizazz. A white heat embossed greeting from Handmade Humor coordinated perfectly!

This clean and simple card features one of my favorite sentiments from Handmade Humor. Sticking with the love theme, I added heart balloons from the Big Bold Balloons stencil. Ink splatter added some interest to this otherwise clean design.

Thanks fro stopping by, have a great day!
