MFT Superstar Challenge

Hey everyone!! I have 3 supercool projects to share for the Superstar challenge at MFT! There are 3 categories this year and here’s my entry for each-

CAS-

For my clean and simple design I chose to go with MFT’s classic chef image from Recipe for Happiness. The brick background Stamp was a perfect backdrop for him.

Polar Bear pals are perfect for slider cards! This bear skates back and forth across the sentiment strip backed by a MFT background Stamp white heat embossed onto gray card stock.

Coloring Virtuoso-

There aren’t many images I don’t enjoy coloring from MFT. But one of my all time favorites are these adorable mice from Harvest Mouse. I actually made a tag with four of the mice but this guy is my favorite. I colored him with Copics and added him to a teeny tiny card using a tag builders set. I love mini cards!

Thanks for stopping by and if there’s still time make sure to enter the challenges!! MFT is generously giving away over $4000 in prizes, showing just what a kind and thoughtful company they are! Thanks for the chance MFT!!

World’s Best Teacher

Hey, guys! I have a really awesome card to share with you today! This one might be my favorite card I’ve made ever, I love everything about it! I got inspiration from CASology and CTD-

I figured these challenges would pair well together since red, black, and white are both my high school colors and my college colors! So making a teacher card with them would be fun!

I staryed by stamping and coloring one of the cutest little mice from Harvest Mice by MFT on some grey cardstock from Paper Trey Ink. I’ve never colored on grey paper but it turned out really cool! Then I did some inlaid die cutting with a die from Sugar Pea Designs. Some MFT striped paper and PPP sewuins finished it off!

Polka Dots for Inky Paws #54

Hello hello hello!!! I’ve FINALLY made a card in time to enter into a challenge. The last 7 or 8 card I’ve made have always missed the deadline. A combo of photo laziness and bad lighting is always the culprit. But I’ve managed to get this one done with 2 hours to spare.

I used the Polka Dot challenge from Newton’s Nook as inspiration.

Brsides the challenge, I also found inspiration from the wonderful Andrea Shell. She created a beautiful polka for and ink blended shaker that I just had to CASE! Go check her out if you haven’t seen it!

I used a circle die to die to repeatedly cut some white card stock and adhered the dots to a panel. Then I used a larger circle to cut a window into the panel so I could create a shaker card. A Distress Ink background and some PPP sparkling clear sequins were the perfect backdrop for the sweet kitten from NN Sweater Weather set. A word die from Mama Elephant in glittery white completed this card!

Thanks for stopping and thanks to Andrea for the inspiration!!

SAT Day 3

I Copic colored her and added her onto an ink blended card base compete with shimmer pen and enamel dots! I love this image and would love to use it as a tag for a movie themed gift or movie tickets sometime!
