Hi, crafty friends! Tonight I have a super fun card to share with you! Its for the current CASology challenge- BEACH! When I saw the cue card for this challenge I knew I had to use this image from Lawn Fawn on my card! And when I saw Cindy B. Designs was the sponsor- I had to make sure it was a good one! So I broke out all my favorite things for this card: water coloring, Copics, and heat embossing! Here’s a look!
I started by adding the “beach” on my card using a dotting technigue with three earth tone Copics. Then I heat embossed my sentiment in white and added a quick wash of blue with a Zig Clean Color Real Brush Marker. For my focal image, I die cut the flamingo and watercolored her in with my Zigs. Something was missing so I added a small flower in her “hair” and rounded the corners! Hope you head over to CASology and check out the challenge as well as Cindy’s cite!
